The Perfect Setting features art by Iowa and Midwestern artists, and provides a gathering space for art lovers to browse, learn, socialize, and comfortably grow their personal collection of original art work.

Opening in 2006 to raves from art enthusiasts and artists alike, the gallery’s spacious and ambient environment allows visitors to view art work and accessories in a manner similar to a home or office setting.

Featured art includes oils and acrylics, ceramics, watercolors, photography, jewelry, decorative textiles, woods, mixed media, and more.  Simple lines, textural interest, soft contemporary themes, and fine craftsmanship dominate the majority of works in the gallery.

Owner Pam Swarts bring 30+ years of interior design expertise to The Perfect Setting. Homeowners receive in-home interior design consultation, while area professionals benefit from a full service corporate art program. Delivery and installation of art work is also offered.  In addition, Pam is a certified home staging consultant, ready to assist home owner prepare their home for a successful sale.  

Special events are popular at The Perfect Setting.  On “Ardi Gras” nights, artists and the public mingle while enjoying rhythm and blues music, wine, and light-hearted fun. Student art shows, private gallery “closings” and ladies-only nights are also regular events. Pam frequently teaches on-site seminars on topics ranging from decluttering your home to creative art display.
